The car is up on jack stands as the rebuilding get's underway in the shop.
The cab has been removed and placed outside just before it was moved off site.
The frame was brought outside and completely stripped.
With the frame cleaned and new gusset plates installed to strengthen it, re assembly
begins.

With a working rolling chassis, the P&W crew took the car out for a successful
test run on a cold March day in 2005.

The 2nd test run to Laconia NH, with the body on, was also a success.

Inside a custom made positive pressure spray booth, the car is prepped for an
automotive finish.
The cars' new color is coming through.
After months of keeping the final paint scheme a secret, the unveiling of
New England Southern M-100, to that railroads' owner, took place
July 13, 2005.
New England Southern President and Owner, Peter Dearness, in the red shirt,
looks over the NEGS M-100 for the first time...a tribute to his railroad.
